A flight to Montreal had to be canceled after the outburst of a flight attendant who reacted to a passenger’s demand for a blanket, an article reported. It happened on flight AC 73 from Casablanca, Morocco, while the aircraft was readying for takeoff. The incident was captured on video and went viral on social media sites.
As per the report, while it was not apparent what provoked the flight attendant’s meltdown, she screamed at a passenger who asked for a blanket. The video footage showed the crew member shouting both in English and French to make the passengers behave and even threatened to eject them from the plane. They heard her commanding not to harass her crew and ordering the passengers to be quiet and buckle up.
According to the article, when passengers asked to speak with the captain, the flight attendant disregarded their pleas and continued threatening removal from the plane.
Air Canada confirmed to CTV News in an email that the flight was canceled following the incident. It said another crew had been sent to take the passengers to their destination the next day. Air Canada added that compensation would be provided to passengers for both the delay and the flight attendant’s behavior.

Christophe Hennebell, an airline spokesperson, was quoted in the report saying that they had treated the incident seriously and are studying it. Hennebell also apologized for the ordeal the customers had to fce, also mentioning that it did not depict the normal standard of Air Canada.
